Since two years we (me, my dogs, my friend Niina and her dogs Teuvo and Veikka) have been spent a part of our summer vacations in Kuusamo, Lappland.We have spent this time in an island where Niina´s brother Kai and his family (his wife Anna and their two sons, Elias & Emil) are having their summer cottage. Because there´s no other cottages in that island, it´s been a real paradise for us and expecially our Welshies. There they are free to run around, take a swim when they want to, and they want quite often...A few times a day we took a trip around the island (we call it safari...:), enjoying about the pure nature, tasting blueberries and cloudberries and the dogs frisking around (It takes about one and half hours to wander around the island, afterwards the dogs are quite exhausted, a moment...). What brings excitement to ours and our dogs life are " wonders of the nature", goldeneyes and other birds with their broods, and reindeers casually visiting in the island. Very interesting parts of the nature if asked our dogs... Luckily all of them have kept away when we have been coming or going to the island four dogs in a small boat!
Thanks to Anna, Kai, Elias and Emil letting our gang to enter their summer paradise! We have really had fun.
