Another show year is over again! Yesterday we were in Helsinki Int Winner-01 Show, 56 WSS entered, Leila Kärkäs (Kennel Mandeville) judged. Our "Tyyne", Int, Fin&Est Ch EstW-98 Rocbee Victoria Cross finished her first year in veteran rings with style winning best of breed veteran! Dirlian Offspring "Uffe" was second in junior class.

We had fine day yesterday in Hyvinkää! It was time for annual Finnish Spaniel Club Main Show, 84 welsh springers entered. Under Mr Len Morgan from Wales (breeding Gwrt Afon welsh springers),
our veteran-lady "Tyyne" Int,Fin&Est CH EStW-98 Rocbee Victoria Cross won Best Bitch-5 and took BOS-veteran!
Tyyne´s critique:
"Feminine head, good eye & ear placement, lovely neck & shoulders, deep body, strong in loin, lovely topline, strong hindquarters, lovely tailset, moved freely"
Tyyne´s daughter "Veera", Fin Ch Dirlian Moonlight Molly went 4th in her class.
Veera´s critique:
" A bitch in hard condition. Full of quality. Feminine head. Good clean neck. Good shoulder placement. Good legs. Would like tighter feet. Good depth of body. Good strenght in loin. Well angulated hindquarters. Flowing movement."

First Dirlian O-puppies(D. Oodles of Fun & D. Onslow, 7 months) started their show-career 26.8.01 in Luumäki. "Roni", D. Onslow was BOB-puppy and BIS-3 puppy, so it was very promising debute... Congratulations, Roni and owners Hanna&Harri!
Dirlian Noisy Morning, "Tyyne" passed her working test in Pyhäntä 18.8.01. Well done, Tyyne and Johanna!

Vacations are over now, what a pity... Again we had a wonderful summer tour to Kuusamo and Vaala, I´ll add some pics later.
We also visited some shows during holidays...:
In Vaala National Ch Show judged Mr Paavo Mattila (19 WSS entered). Our Kirsti, Dirlian Nice Surprise was BOB and won her 3rd CC which means that she gained the title of Fin Ch!
Last weekend we travelled to the Joensuu National Ch Show for all breeds. Only 7 WSS entered. Veera, Fin Ch Dirlian Moonlight Molly was only WSS worth of CQ so she was best in breed. She went also 2nd in Group , so it was fine day to our Veera! Mr Rune Fagerström judged both breed and group.

What a exciting day we had yesterday in Helsinki International Ch Show! Our "Veera", Fin Ch Dirlian Moonlight Molly took her first CACIB and won BOS! 22 Welsh Springers entered, and Mrs Will de Vries-Hoogland from Netherlands were judging.

We´re living "normal" life again, our sweet little Maija moved to her own home week ago. She´s now living with Marja and Peter in Pernaja. So we´re having no puppies until....in the beginning the year 2002? I´m next planning to mate our "Kirsti", Dirlian Nice Surprise with some handsome male.

Maija is still looking her own co-ownership home...Maija is very sweet and funny puppy. She likes to play outside with Mama-Tyyne and her big sisters Veera and Kirsti. She runs among others (no doubt she´s feeling herself very important!) when someone is walking the dog along the road which goes past our house.
"Little"-Tyyne´s (D.Noisy Morning) hips are B-B.

The last of the boys, Uffe aka Dirlian Offspring moved to his own home yesterday. Good luck to your new life, Uffe, Terhi and Markku! So only Maija is staying with us, but it seems that she´s very happy with Tyyne and big sisters. |

Already 6 of Tyyne´s puppies have moved to their own homes, Good luck Sanni, Whiski, Mona, Roni, Nelli and Nasu. Uffe is staying here until next Friday, "Maija" is looking her own(co-ownership) home nearby...

Puppies are in three weeks of age tomorrow. All of them are growing so fast.... They have started their walking reherseals, they´re walking quite steadily until falling down sooner or later...

Finally we have puppies! Tyyne had 8 fine puppies yesterday, 3 males and 5 bitches.

We are only expecting... Tyyne has almost three weeks left and she´s already quite big! How many puppies she´s going to have...Very exciting!
