8.12.2002 Yesterday was our last show in this year, the Winner-02 Show in Helsinki. 78 Welsh Springers entered, Mrs Kirsti Bremer was judging. Our dear "Tyyne", Int,Fin&Est Ch EstW-98 Rocbee Victoria Cross was BOB-veteran, exactly as a year ago in this same Show. So it seems that Tyyne likes the athmosphere of Helsinki Fair Centre! |

Some new hip results. "Maija" aka Dirlian Open Secret result A, her brother "Uffe" aka Dirlian Offspring result A. Also "Olli" aka Dirlian Nano Nano was x-rayed again, this time with result B-C.

Today in Jyväskylä Int Ch Show took Dirlian Offspring aka "Uffe" his 2nd CC. Mr Laszlo Erdös from Hungary was judging, 51 Welsh Springers entered. Congratulations Uffe and Terhi & Markku!!!

The confirmation of Veera´s Int Ch tittle came today, so I´m happy to inform that our dear Veera is now officially Int&Fin&Est Ch EstW-02 Dirlian Moonlight Molly. Her cacibs are taken in Helsinki 28.5.2001 (Mrs Will de Vries-Hoogland, Netherlands) and in Tallinn 3.6.2002 (Mr Leif-Herman Wilberg, Norway).

Yesterday was a historical day, it was the day of a first puppy-date ever in kennel Dirlian. All our 5 months old P-puppies were invited. So sisters Lotta and Pinja and brothers Roope and Duffe and their masters and mistresses were here, only Maisa had unfortunately no opportunity to visit here. Maybe next time then, we all hope...
It was a warm and sunny day so time seems to be flying... In the beginning we concentrated to get known each other and free conversation. Then it was Veera´s turn to be a sample dog when we take rid of how and where we have to groom our own Welshies and what´s the best equipment to do that. Veera did manage with honour from her demanding task and after that everyone got possibility to try grooming with their own dogs. It was nice to see that everyone also bravely used this opportunity.
The head caracters themselves took all advantage about this date. It was so fun to play and run together with friends! After 4 hours playing the speed of the youngsters seemed a little slower so no doubt the way home had to be quiet...
"Uffe" aka Dirlian Offspring were at working test in Jyväskylä yesterday. Uffe passed the test, this was his first try. Well done, Uffe and Terhi!

In Helsinki National Ch Show (for all breeds) 1,5 years old Dirlian Officially Olga aka "Nasu" took her 2nd CC and won BOB. The judge were Mrs Eeva Anttinen, Finland. Congratulations, Nasu and all the Lindholms!

Our summer holiday began at last. And with warm and sunny weather, which is a pleasure for us humans, but dogs seems enjoying more sleeping in shadows.
We aren´t going any shows in near future, only watching,so I hope we meet then.

What a fine day!
Yesterday we (me, Veera (Fin Ch Dirlian Moonlight Molly),my friend Jaana and her Ralli (Int,Fin&Est Ch JWW-98 BaltW-00 Kastalian Touchdown,=sire of our N-litter) took a ferry across the Finnish Gulf to Estonia and visited Tallinn Int Ch Show. Mr Leif-Herman Wilberg from Norway were judging Welsh Springers. He choiced Ralli to win BOB, which means a new title for him, EstW-02. BOS was our Veera, taking also CC and Cacib, which means Veera is now Int Ch (without confirmation) and also having titles Est Ch and EstW-02!
While we and our dogs were swetting in sunny and very hot Tallinn, my wonderful and active puppybuyers went to shows at home. In Tuusula National Ch Show ( Mrs Gillian McDowell from Ireland as judge) Dirlian Offspring aka "Uffe" won BOS and took his first CC. Congratulations, Uffe and owners Terhi and Markku!
In Our annual Springer Spaniel Speciality Show in Karkku, Uffe´s sister "Nasu" , Dirlian Officially Olga,was 4th in intermediate class. Mrs Julie Revill (Kennel Julita) from UK were judging.

It was five years ago when first Dirlian puppies, M-litter, 4 males and 3 bitches (Mighty Man, MacGyver, Madmardigan, Madcap Mike, Magic Minnie, Miss Melody and Moonlight Molly) were borned. So the times goes by... Happy birthday Teuvo, Albert, Kalle, Caro, Nelli, Misty and Veera!

Fin Ch Dirlian Moonlight Molly aka "Veera" won Best of Breed today in Hamina National Champion Show. Best bitch 5th was 16 months old Dirlian Officially Olga alias "Nasu". Best male 2nd was Fin Ch Dirlian Nano Nano aka "Olli". Mrs Ann Ingram from Ireland judged, 20 wss entered.

19.5.2002 Dirlian Nano Nano alias "Olli" (sire: Int, Fin&Est Ch JWW-98 BaltW-00 - dam: Int, Fin&Est Ch EstW-98 Rocbee Victoria Cross) won best male-2 today in Helsinki National Champion Show and took his 3rd CC. Because Olli has had approved working test since summer 2000 he gained the tittle of Fin Ch. Mrs Edwina Thomas from Australia were judging. 11.5.2002 Dirlian Officially Olga aka "Nasu" took her first CC and won BOS today in Lappeenranta National Ch Show(for FCI-groups 5,6&8). Congratulations Nasu,her handler Kati and others, well done! |

Puppies are growing so fast... Everything is ok, and Kirsti seems to be a super mother, she´s taking so good care about her puppies.
"Nelli", D. Olive on a Bus has moved to a new home, She lives now in Porvoo with Hakala family.
