Lousy news. Maija was ultrasounded yesterday, and unfortunately she seemed to be empty. So we´ll have no puppies in January. This means also that our next litter is due to be born in autumn 2004 when Maija will be mated with some suitable nice male.

Again one year in showrings is over, ending today in Helsinki Int Winner -03 Show. We had a mother and her daughter presented there, Int&Fin&Est Ch EstW-98 Rocbee Victoria Cross aka "Tyyne" and Fin&N Ch Dirlian Officially Olga aka "Nasu". In a large champion class Nasu placed second with excellent. Our 9 years old Granny-Tyyne was selected as BOB veteran. Wss bitches judged Mr Harri Lehkonen, males and BOB classes judged Mrs Kirsti Louhi.

General impression excellent. Very well preserved strong elegant veteran. Beautiful head. Good front part and top line. Correct propotions. Still a coat of quite good quality. Healthy movement.

Great news from Norway!
Fin Ch Dirlian Officially Olga aka "Nasu" was shown today at Int Ch Show (Norwegian Winner-03) in Hamar Norway, where Nasu took CC and CACIB. Nasu also got the title of N Ch. In Hamar Welsh Springers Spaniels judged Mrs Arja Koskelo from Finland. Congratulations to all Nasu´s homefolks and special thanks to Suvi who handled her so fine.

Dirlian Open Secret is now mated with FIN&N&S(u)&LTU Ch,SVCh,LTUW-03 Hammalgårdens Don´t Forget Me. If "Maija" and "Dante" had a succesful romance, our next litter will be born in January.

The first of our Q- litter, 5 months old Dirlian Quite Nice, started her show career in Hyvinkää Spaniel Club Main Show. Mr Tom Graham (breeding Nyliram WSS in UK) took the breed. "Nanouh" was 2nd in a puppyclass (5-7 months).
Nanouh´s critique:
"Lovely feminine head. Ample bone. Lovely reach of neck. Nice hind and front for age. Needs just a little more body. Moved true."

Fin Ch Dirlian Offspring aka "Uffe" participated his first field trial tests during this weekend in Kauhajoki. On sunday Uffe passed the test with result 3 in open class. Well done,Uffe and Terhi!

Today at Porvoo National Ch Show was shown the first Dirlian breeders group ever. In our group we had Fin Ch Dirlian Nano Nano, Fin Ch Dirlian Offsppring, Dirlian Open Secret and Dirlian Olive On A Bus. Our group was best of breed.
Critique of our group:
Jämn grupp med mkt bra storlekar, bra pälsar och vinklar.
(Homogenious group with very good sizes, good coats and quarters.)

"Maija" aka Dirlian Open Secret won her first CC today in Porvoo, being also BOS. Mr Anders Cederström from Sweden were judging WSS today.

3.8.2003 CONGRATULATIONS NASU! "Nasu" aka Dirlian Officially Olga visited today at Rauma National Ch Show for all breeds winning her 3rd CC. So Nasu got a title Fin Ch! Mr David Wong from Australia was judging WSS at Rauma today. Congrats to Nasu and all her home folks!

CONGRATULATIONS UFFE!!!
Today at Uurainen National Ch Show Dirlian Offspring, known as Uffe among his friends, took his 3rd CC winning BOS. Because Uffe already has his working test approved, this means that Uffe has a title Fin Ch now. Well done, Uffe and Terhi! Mr Paavo Mattila was judging Welsh Springers at Uurainen today.

Puppy news!
Our Q-litter was born yeasterday, 4 boys and 2 girls. Everything went well and Kirsti and her puppies are OK.

We had ultrasound done today, and now it seems that Kirsti is really going to have puppies in the end of this month. We´re waiting with exitement...

Exciting news!
"Kirsti" aka Fin Ch Dirlian Nice Surprise is now mated with "Dante" aka N&S(u) Ch SVCh Hammalgården´s Don´t Forget Me . So if everything goes fine, we´ll be expecting puppies to be born in the very end of the April.

Today we had our first Show in this year. It was Imatra Int Ch Show, our dear granny Tyyne, Int&Fin&Est Ch Rocbee Victoria Cross entered and won finally BOS-veteran. This was the first time I saw the new show regulations in practise, only time will tell how long it take to learn them as well as those old ones. I think it will take some time to get used to them.

Finally I have some new about our "puppy-project". Kirsti´s having her season so we´ll be travelling to meet Mr Dante soon...
