All our litters are growing at home with us, in the middle of our everyday life. At first puppies live in the puppy box in the corner of bedroom, when they grow older and the box isn't any more big enouh for the puppies growing fast and playing more and more, they'll have a "playpen" joined to their puppybox, so they'll have a large fenched area where to play and run together. When the puppies are old enough, about 5 weeks or more, they'll get daily (if the weather allows) out to our homeyard to meet the wonders of the big world. Sometime the puppies may also run around inside the house checking all the corners, it's a fact that's much easier to clean up the "puppyland" without at least four anxcious little helpers chasing the mop...
All our combinations has approval of our breed organization. All puppies are registered in Finnish Kennel Club. All puppies are checked by vet and ID-marked before moving their own homes. (The older puppies are also vaccinated). The litteral intructions how to feed and take care of the puppy is given with the puppy, and also some food puppies are used to eat. The puppy owners may always contact me in the matters concerning the life of the puppies I've bred.
I willingly trim the dogs I've bred, but of course this isn't always possible, because the long distaces. In these cases I try to help finding out a person who trims the breed, because the groomin/trimming is an essential part of the care and wellbeing of the Welsh Springer Spaniel. I also give advices about the secrets of the trimming if someone is interested to do it themselves. To trim Welsh Springer it isn't difficult at all, if you only have enthuasism familiarize to it and acquire good tools.
Probably every breeder would like to see the dogs they're bred also in shows or tests, so do I too. If only someone has the enthuasism for these hobbies, I'll give advices also in these matters, and it's more than pleasure for me to come with to the first events, if it only is possible.
